About Episode 8
Episode 8 for "NCIS: New Orleans" entitled "Music To My Ears" features how Agent Pride takes full responsibility for everything. At the meantime, Agent Pride is currently investigating the murder case of Scott Bakula, the member of the United States Navy Band, as well as the death of Heather Cobb.
The body of the Naval Petty Officer Heather Cobb had been recently found after the local police responded to what they thought was just a domestic disturbance. Rather, someone had broken into her home and beat her to her death.
With all things that happened, there's only one witness to the crime, the 9-year old Dustin Matthews, who also happens to be Heather Cobb's nephew. Dustin's life is currently at risk since he is the sole witness to the latest crime
Earning Dustin's Trust is key
Dustin was also traumatized by the incident, so for the meantime, Pride took Dustin to stay with him. Pride has a hunch that Dustin could have seen the whole thing, but never wants to talk much about it, so he kept trying to earn Dustin's trust.
Pride wants Dustin to recognized Officer Josh Gordon, who played the trumpet for the Navy, as well as being good to Heather. As of now, Gordon is the prime suspect of "NCIS: New Orleans" for the death of Heather Cobb, and as long as Dustin keeps his secret, the crime will not be solved.
