Everyone is waiting for news on the next Surface Pro, but for now the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is not expected to release until spring 2017. Microsoft's latest product will have new features from both gadgets. It is anticipated that this will have a fast and more sophisticated processor all in a portable tablet. Windows users will have a lot to look forward to in this powerful upcoming device.
Early 2017 Microsoft has released the Pro 4 in October 2015, so October 2016 seems likely the most probable release date for a new model. However, at its October event, the new Surface series was limited to the new Surface Book i7 and the Surface Studio. There are also some rumors saying that the Surface Pro 5 will be unveiled in 2017.
Though Microsoft's announcement strategy is irregular it is speculated that 'Surface Pro5' will come out in October next year and will be packed with seriously powerful hardware.
According to JobsNHire, The next big Windows 10 update which they called the Creators Update is not rolling out until spring 2017 and now this has led to many rumors that Microsoft will delay its Surface hardware until then.
Rumors ties in with the fact that Intel's Kaby Lake chips are only just seemly available now and Microsoft might also are waiting for another unit. There were many rumors rounding up that Apple would launch a Kaby Lake-powered MacBook Pro on 27th of October, however, it went with Skylake. Right now we're starting to anticipate Kaby Lake laptops such as the newest version of Dell's XPS 13.
The Surface Pro 5 will be having the current 16GB RAM and storage capacity of 1TB. Moreover, this model will have rechargeable USB-C ports along with a Surface Pen. This will make the upcoming model on the top of the line.
The Surface Pro 5 will have a starting selling price of $899 that might go up to $1,599. The price may vary on the choice of storage and features that the buyer will choose for.
