NBA Trade Rumors: John Wall and Paul George to join forces in Boston Celtics in 3-team, 7-player blockbuster deal

A rumored NBa trade was being floated online saying that John Wall and Paul George have the possibility to join forces in Boston Celtics in a blockbuster deal.

The Boston Celtics are one of the busiest teams during the offseason. And up until now, they are still exploring the NBA trade market trying to find a high-caliber superstar that could somehow compete with contender teams.

The Celtics are dead serious to have an upgrade to their lineup. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge earlier declared before the season start that if there's a plausible trade deal coming that will make them 'contenders' they will go for it. And with plenty of tradeable assets at their disposal, they are ready to engage in any deal that is viable for them.

As for Wall and George, they are two players that are frequently being mentioned in the rumor mills the past few months. Wall is rumored to be losing patience with the current situation of the Washington Wizards and wants out of the team while George is being targeted by many teams being a high-value player that can give immediate impact on every team.

Now, a proposed trade deal between the Wizards, Pacers and Celtics is being the hot topic online and being discussed as of late. Trade scenario is suggesting as follows:

1. The Washington Wizards will receive Isaiah Thomas and Amir Johnson plus Nets 2018 first-round pick (via Boston) from the Celtics;

2. The Indiana Pacers will then acquire Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart and Jonas Jerebko plus Nets 2017 first-round pick (via Boston) from the Celtics;

3. Finally, the Boston Celtics will get John Wall from the Wizards and Paul George from the Pacers.

Though the Celtics seem to be depleted by sending too many assets, the caliber of Wall and George is hard to pass up for them. Aside from elevating the Celtics to being a contender, they might also dominate the league with Wall and George on their fold.

On the other hand, both the Wizards and Pacers got a good return as well. Thomas will replace Wall as Wizards' starting court general while Johnson can be a starter or backup at the PF spot plus the future pick could also be a big catch.

Meanwhile, the Pacers will have an ideal replacement for George in Crowder while Smart and Jerebko will be an added boost on their bench. The future draft pick could also be a steal for them coming from Nets, who is expected to have a losing record this season and the pick could be high.

As per checking with ESPN NBA Trade Machine, the trade will also work under the NBA trade rules and salary cap restriction making it a legal deal for both teams. However, the rumored deal is still speculation as of this moment and none of this teams involved have confirmed it.
