OnePus 3T to get an update today, which still runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Chinese tech giant announced that the OnePlus 3T users will be getting the OxygenOS 3.5.4 incremental update over-the-air.
"The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout in a few days," said the OnePlus team in its forum post. The fans can expect the following updates.
Optimizations for US-TMO Network, Optimizations to Reduce Lag when Battery is below 5%, Optimized Bluetooth Connectivity for Mazda Cars, Optimized Battery Saving Mode: GPS and Orientation Preferences will be restored when Battery Saving Mode is closed.
Fixed Flashlight Usability Issue in WhatsApp, Increased System Stability and Implemented Various Bug Fixes. OnePlus team member posted these updates by appreciating the users for bringing up the feedback to them. It is also mentioned that the OTA will be incremental, will reach a small percentage today and the broader rollout will be coming in few days.
The company has started rolling out the latest community build based on Android 7.0 Nougat for OnePlus 3. For OnePlus 3 the update of OxygenOS Open Beta 9 comes with optimizations and improvements in numerous areas including added expanded screenshots, shelf design optimizations, general UI optimizations, DPI optimizations, Battery performance optimizations, stability and performance optimizations, and general bug fixes.
According to Gadgets 360, OnePlus 3T's review the over phone ratings is 9 over 10. Pros mentioned are solid system and app performance, good battery life, competent set of cameras, premium builds quality and good value for money. Cons of the phone include touch latency issues and lack of FM radio.
