Huawei, the Chinese tech giant and world's third largest producer of smartphones will bring Honor V9 as Honor 8 Pro to the other tech markets around the world. Huawei announced recently that it will unveil its new flagship Honor V9 Smartphone on February 21, 2017.
A source from Russian website claims that Huawei Honor V9 Smartphone will be renamed and presented as Honor 8 Pro in rest of the tech market. Huawei Honor V9 has a ChinaMobile branding on its back, which clearly indicates that the Smartphone will only be present or go on sale in Chinese tech market.
As per the report, the detailed specifications and features of the Honor 8 Pro have been revealed. It is reported that the company insider told the Russian website that the device will go global just under a different name.
It is reported that characteristics of Honor 8 Pro will be similar to Honor V9. The only difference that can be found is the absence of logo of the Chinese telecom operator on the rear cover. The report claims that Honor 8 Pro is expected to arrive in with options such as 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM /128GB storage.
The Honor 8 Pro is reportedly assumed to sport 5.7-inch QHD (2560x1440pixels) screen. Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by octa-core Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4GHz. The phone is expected to feature a dual camera setup at the rear with 12MP and 2MP lens and 8MP front camera for selfies. The phone is reported to be powered by 3,900mAh battery, dual-SIM option and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
As per the report, the Honor 8 Pro will go on sale in late March 2017. Also, it is reported that Honor 8 Pro will be seen at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC), Barcelona, Spain. Stay tuned for more updates.
