Lenovo's Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones were rumored and leaked online. A new Portuguese source shows the leaked images of Moto G5 in-hands. Along with the leaked images, the report confirms few of the features that were rumored earlier like the presence of a metal body and a removable battery.
According to Portuguese website, Mto G5 is held by a person with blurred face and report claims that the feature a physical home button just below the display. The report also confirms the availability of virtual buttons, a fingerprint sensor on the front and Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The legendary Moto "M" logo is seen sitting at the back.
It is stated that the biometric sensor touchpad is similar to OnePlus 3 touchpad. Also, an explanation is made that the base also serves as virtual buttons. It is noted that when the user slides finger to the left on the biometric sensor, it performs the back function. When the finger slides to the right, the multitasking mode is triggered. Also, the report indicates that the virtual buttons can be totally removed by making changes in the settings.
Earlier, as per the Droid Life report, entire detailed specifications and features were leaked online. The design of the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus is seen sporting metal bodies with Lenovo branding at the side panels. The back of the phone along with Moto 'M' symbol, the primary camera can be seen in the circular design at the back.
The report claims that Moto G5 and G5 Plus will sport 5-inch and 5.2-inch full HD screen with 401ppi and 424ppi respectively. Also, the displays reported being protected with cornering Gorilla Glass 3 cover in both the phones.
The leaked detailed specifications hints that the Moto G5 will be powered by 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Moto G5 Plus will be powered by 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM 64GB of internal storage.
Lenovo is expected to arrive with Moto G5 and G5 Pus at the World Congress on February 26, 2017, in Barcelona, Spain. However, there is no official confirmation yet on Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones from the company. So, readers are requested to take all the leaks with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates
