Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant reached a new milestone of selling 1 million Redmi Note 4 smartphones in India. The Smartphone was launched in India back in January and managed to set a new milestone of one million in just 45 days after the sale started on January 23, 2017. Xiaomi India also had the greatest achievement after hitting 1 billion in revenues in 2016.
According to Redmi India, Xiaomi India earlier revealed the Redmi Note 4's first sale in January stating that it has sold 250,000 units being sold out in 10 minutes. The company in the Facebook added that the figure makes the Redmi Note 4 the fastest model in the country to hit 1 million units. The best thing to be known that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sales were within the time period implies one unit was sold every 4 seconds.
Earlier, company also managed to sell Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 around 2.3 million units in the country and this was declared it to be the bestselling online Smartphone in India last year. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched with three memory/ storage variants in India, which includes the 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage combination model which is priced at Rs. 9,999, the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage combination model priced at Rs. 10,999, and the last 4GB RAM and 64GB storage combination model priced at Rs. 12,999. The Redmi Note 4 is available in Gold, Grey, Matte Black, and Silver color variants in the Indian tech market.
