Huawei, the Chinese tech giant unveiled the new Huawei P10 Lite Smartphone. The Smartphone already leaked earlier is now official and it is available for pre-orders in the United Kingdom starting today. Huawei P10 Lite and P10 will be is reported to be available globally on March 31. The Huawei P10 Plus model will go on sale starting from April 7, 2017.
According to GSM Arena, Huawei P10 Lite featuring a 5.2-inch Full HD display having 1920x1080 resolution. The phone's display has a Huawei's interestingly named Knuckle Sense Technology, which has a capability to differentiate between finger and knuckle taps. This differentiation between the taps allows enabling for a variety of convenient shortcuts. The phone measures 146.5 x 72 x 7.2 mm (Length x width x thickness) and weighs 142g.
Under the hood, the Huawei P10 Lite is powered by Kirin 658 chipset (16nm, octa-core) processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Mali-T830MP2 GPU. The phone is equipped with 32GB internal storage and an option of further expansion up to 128GB via microSD card is provided. Also, the smartphone comes with 3,100 mAh battery capable of 18W fast charging, which is claimed to get 43% charge in just 30 minutes, two hours of video playback from a 10-minute charge, and a full charge in just over 90 minutes.
The Huawei P10 Lite runs on Android Nougat with the latest EMUI 5.1. It is reported that all software in the phone features knuckle gestures, Quik integration, better performance, Power Saver 5.0, and memory optimizations.The smartphone comes with a 12MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera.
The United Kingdom pre-orders starts today through Carphone Warehouse, EE, and Vodafone and the phone has a price tag of £299. Also, the other two siblings of the phone-Huawei P10 and P10 Plus comes at a price tag of £549 and £649 respectively. Stay tuned for more updates.
