Sony, the Japanese tech giant launched Xperia XZs Smartphone at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. The Smartphone was launched along with the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones. Sony has started sending invites for the launch event in India on April 4. According to Android Headlines, the Japanese company is setting up a launch event on April 4 where the tech giant will launch the new Xperia XZs mid-ranger smartphone. It is reported that the smartphone launched as the successor of Xperia XZ comes in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colors. However, there are no confirmations yet whether all the three colors will be available for the Indian tech market or not. Also, there are no details on the price and release date yet.
Sony Xperia XZs will come with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels resolution and 424ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM. The device comes loaded with 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage options with an option of further expansion up to 256GB via microSD.
The Sony Xperia XZs features Sony's new 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with 1/2.3" Exmor RS memory stacked sensor. This feature brings 960 fps slow motion video shooting, 4K video recording, Anti-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology, Predictive Capture, and 5-axis image stabilization for shake-free videos.
In addition, the Sony Xperia XZs features a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with a dedicated camera shutter button, 22mm wide-angle and f/2.0 lens. The Sony Xperia XZs has an IP65/68 rating for dust and water resistance, fingerprint scanner and a 2,900 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat onboard.
The Sony Xperia XZs Smartphone measures 146x72x8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. The connectivity options included in the device are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/as, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port. Also, the device features an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
