Samsung, the Korean tech giant denies the rumors of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ initial supply shortages that were reported earlier and the CEO claims that the company has made all arrangements with respect to the market demand. Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh confirms that Samsung Galaxy S8 initial Stock is twice that of stock that was available at the time of Galaxy S7 launch.
According to Gadgets NDTV, the Samsung Mobile CEO DJ Koh speaking at a press conference has stated that the Samsung Galaxy S8 Smartphones initial stock is double when compared to the Galaxy S7. Koh also adds that the reason for doubling the initial stock is to prevent a bottleneck in early sales and as well as a show of confidence.
It is reported that the company encountered supply shortages as result of display supply shortages during the launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Smartphone. In order to avoid such circumstances in the amazingly featured Samsung Galaxy S8 release, the company is all set to reach the market demand.
Koh confirms that the company has enough initial stock compared to the Galaxy S7 so that there will be no [supply problem] when sales begin in April up to the end of the first half. Koh also added that the that the company faced trial and error to make the top and bottom bezel-less in design after having the left and right edge.
"We ramped up the yield rate [of the display] and have resolved all production process problems," said DJ Koh
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Specifications-
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ sports a 5.8-inch QHD+ (1440x2960 pixels) and 6.2-inch QHD+ (1440x2960 pixels) Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both the smartphones are powered by the latest chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC (2.3GHz Quad + 1.7GHz Quad) in the US. There are reports claiming that the other global markets will get the Exynos 8895 SoC (2.35GHz Quad + 1.9GHz Quad) processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ Smartphone processor are coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board storage with an option of further expansion up to 256GB via microSD card. Both the devices feature a 12-megapixel 'Dual Pixel' rear camera with optical image stabilization feature and an 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus feature.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features 3000mAh battery with wireless charging and fast charging support, whereas, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ is equipped with 3500mAh battery with technology as that of Galaxy S8
