Xioami Mi 6 to Launch This Month

Xioami Mi 6 is confirmed to hit the tech market this month. The Chinese tech giant's CEO Lei Jun officially confirmed its arrival this month but no specific dates were mentioned. The device was also leaked earlier with amazing specifications and features along with its big brother 'Xioami Mi 6 Plus.'

According to Playful Droid, Xioami fans receive an amazing news from the company head about the release of Xioami Mi 6 Smartphone this month. The company CEO Lei Jun confirmed the arrival during a live stream session with the Xioami's enthusiasts. However, there were no details mentioned about the launch date and specifications that the Smartphone will hold. There are rumors claiming that the Xioami Mi 6 will be launched April 11 or April 18.

During a live stream session with Xiaomi's fans yesterday, Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun had officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi6 will be announced this month. Although no specific date was given by him, but reports out of China seem to agree that the new flagship could make its debut on either April 11th or April 18th this month.

The Xioami Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus were leaked earlier. The Xiaomi Mi 6 was seen sporting 5.15-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the leaks hint that the processor powering the smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core chipset clocked at 2.45GHz.

The processor is tipped to be coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU along with the three storage options, which includes 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. The Mi 6 is tipped to feature 19-megapixel SONY IMX400 camera lens at the back and 8-ultrapixel camera in the front. In addition, the Smartphone might pack a 3,200mAh non-removable battery and the phone running on MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
