Motorola Moto G4 Plus Receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update in US [Build: NPJ25.93-14]

Motorola Moto G4 Plus smartphone users in the Unites States are receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Motorola recently launched the successors of Moto G4 Series into the tech market with Android Nougat straight of the box. Google released the latest OS last year with bundles of features and upgrading over its previous OS.

According to the Android Soul, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus unlocked variants are receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update over the air (OTA). The Nougat update rolled out by Motorola carries a build number NPJ25.93-14. It is reported that the new operating system will boost the user experience on the Smartphone with the arrival of new features like the improved Doze mode, new notification features, split window mode and more.

Users of the Motorola Moto G4 Plus Smartphone will get the notification for the Android 7.0 Nougat update. If the notification does not hit the device, the users can check the update manually by going to Settings > About device > System updates.

In addition, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus users are advised to have 50 percent battery power along with the best Wi-Fi Network connection prior to the start of download and installation process. It is also reported that Motorola might be currently working on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS for the Moto G4 Plus, as the Smartphone was spotted on GFXBench with the 7.1.1 Nougat OS.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus sports a 5.50-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 401 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with Adreno 405 and 2GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The device features a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear with phase detection & laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, features and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus is equipped with 3000mAh non-removable battery and overall measurement of the Smartphone is 153.00 x 76.60 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 155.00 grams. The dual SIM Smartphone features Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope sensors.
