Before it was finally confirmed, reports were rife before that Fergie might quit Black Eyed Peas and the recent report just proved that she is indeed leaving. Her band mate, will.i.am just confirmed the rumor in his interview telling that Fergie will do a solo album.
After revealing the Fergie will be leaving Black Eyed Peas, will.i.am also recounted the times and the important vocalists thy have worked with since the beginning of the band. According to Perez Hilton, he also mentioned Esthero, Macy Gray, Fergie, and Debi Nova. With this, she shared that there were several females that appeared on the group's very album.
But for most of the songs of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie was the most featured female. However, will.i.am also gave recognition to the other females he mentioned which were really good too like Fergie herself.
After that revelation, will.i.am also gave light to the rumor and the report that Fergie will be replaced by some equally talented female artists in the industry. With this, Mail Online reported that he shed light on the report that Nicole Scherzinger will replace Fergie in the Black Eyed Peas.
