'Captain America: The Winter Solider' Trailer: NEW Posters Of Black Widow, Captain America And Nick Fury Released (PHOTOS)

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" has released three new posters for the film, showcasing Captain America, Black Window and Nick Fury.

Chris Evans is back reprising his role of Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America (see slideshow above for new posters). The film is slated to hit theaters on April 4, and directors Anthony and Joe Russo recently spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the upcoming film.

According to the LA Times, the directing duo used movies like Robert Redford's "Three Days of the Condor" to inspire the vision for the film. The two wanted to marry the Marvel superhero tale with the political thriller genre, thus creating a "fresh" was to tell Captain America's story.

"We've always looked at that as a road to how you find freshness in storytelling," Joe told the LA Times. "Bringing together incongruous elements and figuring out how do they mix and what do they make when you put them together."

The directing duo are reportedly in talks with Marvel to direct the third installment of the "Captain America" franchise films.
