Miley Cyrus: Designers Skeptical About Working with ‘Adore You’ Singer Because She’s ‘Superficial, Dangerous’?

It seems like Miley Cyrus' racy and controversial behavior has started to rub a few people the wrong way. The "We Can't Stop" singer recently did a cover shoot for Love magazine but stylist Katie Grand revealed that it was hard for her to find designers willing to loan their clothes to the pop star.

According to Vogue Australia, Grand said it was "tricky" to dress Cyrus for the cover shoot.

"At first I wasn't sure about Miley. A lot of people aren't. It was tricky to borrow clothes for the shoot because she seems to divide opinion in a Marmite-esque way," Grand wrote in the interview proceeding Cyrus' cover story.

"Many people I respect didn't want to get involved. They thought there was something superficial about her - dangerous even," she continued.

However, not all designers want to stay far away from the 21-year-old. She recently landed a 2014 campaign deal with Marc Jacobs. In the interview with Love, Cyrus opened up about her sexuality and ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer has made headlines and raised eyebrows for some of revealing and risqué outfit choices. Cyrus told the magazine that she is completely comfortable with her sexuality and doesn't understand why people find it offensive.

"What's crazy to me, and this is nuts, is that sexuality is still so offensive. Kids need to know about sexuality," Cyrus said. "Girls need to be comfortable in that. You know people laugh and think it's funny that I said I'm a big feminist, but what about me isn't? I tell girls , be who you are. Do whatever the f**k you want."

As far as her ex-fiance, the singer admitted that she has no idea what happened to her 3.5-carat Neil Lane engagement ring but she still talks to Hemsworth, the Daily Mail reports. The two called off their engagement in September 2013.

"Don't know. Think it's in the shower," she said about the ring.

"We still talk and communicate. I was with him since I was 16 and nothing's ever going to make that go away," she added. "I've known this guy all that time and if it doesn't work out I can still smile and love him and he can love me and that's great. That's the way to be. Life is too short. If you get called one day and, God forbid, that person isn't here, then the last thing you want to know that you had your ego in front of you. If you love someone, tell them you do, if you want to be friends with someone, be friends with them."
