Jon Gosselin is seeking temporary primary custody of his eight children until their mother Kate Gosselin goes in for a "psychiatric evaluation."
In a new interview, Jon told E! News he will do everything he can to fight for his children. The father claims he is concerned that his children fear Kate, who is allegedly manipulating their kids to go against him.
"[Kate is] trying to win [the twins'] favoritism by making them look like a bad person," Gosselin told E! News.
Jon also alleges his 13-year-old daughters Mady and Cara are being used to make their lives with Kate seem better than they actually are.
"That article is total f-king bulls-t. I really think that was edited using Mady and Cara as the source," Jon told E! News.
Jon's E! News interview reiterates what he stated to InTouch Weekly back in January. Jon's desire for temporary custody came after Cara and Mady went of the "TODAY Show" and "The View" to speak out about their "normal" lives. However, both interviews with the girls were awkward, as the girls remained quiet when it came to discussing anything about their father.
"I think out of fear, they went silent," Jon told InTouch. "They were never scripted before, it was a reality show - do what you want, say what you want. They were in a moral dilemma. All the stress got to them and they didn't say anything."
Jon told InTouch he wanted to immediately file for full custody of nine-year-old Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah because they are allegedly afraid of their mother.
"They live in fear of Kate," Jon told the gossip magazine. "Every time I see them, they tell me they want to live with me."
"First, I'm going to file for an emergency petition for contempt ... The next step is to fight for custody," he said. "It's the only way I can protect the younger six."
Jon has yet to file any legal petition requesting custody of his eight children. You can watch Jon's interview with E! News here.
