According to a royal expert, Prince Harry maintains regular communication with Prince Charles, but his relationship with Prince William has not healed since the Oprah interview.
After stepping down from royal duties last year, the Duke of Sussex is presently residing in California with his wife Meghan Markle at their $14 million property. Camilla Tominey has questioned what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been up to since they retired from the royal family last year, claiming there has been "little evidence of a global wave of service" triggered by the couple.
Prince Harry's Oprah Interview Left Prince William at "His Lowest Point"
In the meantime, she pointed out that Prince Harry's connection with his family has scarcely improved in the past year. The couple's relationship is said to have been "incredibly strained" after two years of squabbles over Prince Harry's wife and her alleged treatment of staff, the couple's decision to emigrate to America, and the tonnes of "truth bombs" the Sussexes have dropped in TV interviews watched by tens of millions of people around the world.
Insiders also disclosed how the Duke and Duchess of Montecito live in their celebrity enclave of Montecito in an incredibly "quiet and private" manner. They said the couple seldom left the home in the previous 18 months and were rarely seen in town. One neighbor who had lived near the couple's enormous house for decades said that they had never seen them out, Daily Mail reported.
An expert thinks that Prince William's "low moment" was prompted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Oprah Winfrey interview, which brought him "additional misery."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attacked "racist" Britain, the Royal Family, and the Press in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in California last year, while also spotlighting Meghan's mental health difficulties. The interview, according to royal author Robert Hardman, caused shockwaves across The Firm, especially among Prince Harry's older brother, Prince William.

Prince Harry has only met his brother publicly twice since leaving the royal service in early 2020. In April of last year, both boys attended the burial of their grandpa, Prince Philip. They also presented a monument of their late mother Princess Diana at Kensington Gardens jointly a few months later.
On July 1, 2021, on what would have been their late mother's 60th birthday, the monument was unveiled. The monument was commissioned by Prince William and Prince Harry in 2017, and it is currently located in the Sunken Garden, which was Princess Diana's favorite area, according to Express.
