'Magic Mike 2' CONFIRMED: Channing Tatum Teases Twitter Fans With Photo Of Himself And 'Dallas' Writing Script? (SEE TWEET)

Ladies, prepare to swoon; Channing Tatum will reprise his stripper persona in an upcoming "Magic Mike" sequel.

The actor took to his official Twitter account to tease a photo of himself writing the script for "Magic Mike 2". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tatum and director Steven Soderbergh dished out $7 million to finance the film, while Reid Carolin wrote script. The movie earned an incredible $114 million from ticket sales for Warner Bros.

"Magic Mike" was a film about a male stripper who wants to get off stage and behind the scenes with his own male review club. Magic Mike, along with club owner Dallas (Matthew McConaughey), make a deal to make his business dreams a reality. However, Mike's world changes once he meets Adam (Alex Pettyfer) and his sister Brooke (Cody Horn).

THR reports Soderbergh isn't expected to direct the sequel, but may sign on as a producer for the film.

However, Tatum might have to get back into shape for the "Magic Mike" sequel if he plans to take the lead stripping role, again. In a recent interview on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show", the 33-year-old actor revealed he's put on a few pounds since last year.

"Right now, what me and my wife [Jenna Dewan-Tatum] like to call it - I am very fappy...Very fat and happy right now," Tatum told Ellen. "Just for once, I've been working for two straight years, and now it's some really needed down time."

The once dubbed "Sexiest Man Alive" also gushed about the couple's baby girl Everly.

"She's 8 months old now. She's saying, 'Da, da, da, da, da.' I don't think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn't matter," Tatum told the talk show host.
