Several French newspapers are reporting that President Barack Obama is having an affair with Beyoncé, Time reports. Yup, you read that right. According to Pascal Rostain, a French photographer, the President of the United States is cheating on his wife Michelle Obama, with the pop superstar.
The photographer's claims were published in French newspaper, Le Figaro.
"You know, all this time, in the United States, there is something big that is happening. [It'll] go out tomorrow in the Washington Post - we can say that it is not the gutter press - an alleged affair between President Barack Obama and Beyoncé," Rostain said.
The photographer doesn't site where the claims came from but said that there is photographic proof to the alleged affair.
"First, there are still or television images of the Obama couple becoming a little distant," Rostain continued. "It is legitimate to ask questions. We found the same thing, always through images, between [French President] Hollande and [his partner Valerie Treirweiler]. Afterwards, there was the rumor. Same for Obama and Beyoncé, for example. Just because it's a rumor doesn't mean that one should not go in the field to check. We should not forget Marilyn [Monroe] or Monica Lewinsky."
The Washington Post has already said they will not be publishing a story about a President Obama-Beyoncé affair and said the rumors are "definitely not true."
According to E! News, another French newspaper, Gala, which is said to be similar to People magazine, is also reporting about the alleged affair and claiming that President Obama and Michelle Obama are heading for a divorce.
These allegations come the same week as French president Hollande is expected to visit the White House. He has currently been making headlines for allegedly leaving his girlfriend of seven years for French actress Julie Gaynet.
