Rep. Jody Hice is sure that the Russia-Ukraine war only happened because Donald Trump is no longer in office and Joe Biden showed weakness.

The Representative from Georgia expressed dismay at how the president allowed these to happen in foreign and domestic policies. Due to what the White House has done, that has caused the severe problems existing now.

Putin Acted Once Trump Was Gone

The Georgia congressman blamed the conflict on what he called the present "weak leadership" in the White House, something he mentioned in an interview with NTD.

Hice will run for the 2022 Georgia secretary of the state election. He reportedly stated Russian President Vladimir Putin would take full advantage of the US and other western countries during this time of war, reported the Epoch Times.

Hice expressed that the invasion was made possible by the weakness of Biden and the things he's done to weaken the US to what it is now.

Donald Trump's time in the White House showed how they respected America, and no one bothered to challenge in four years.

Comments by Rep. Jody Hice came after the ex-president went on Fox News and said the Russia-Ukraine War happened because he wasn't the president anymore; instead, it was the less than unsatisfactory Joe Biden leading the US in a steep dive.

Trump's Claims on Putin

According to the 45th president, Putin possesses a very big ego, and he won't stop until Ukraine gives in because of it. Even if he takes a tiny extra territory, he will not stop his military invasion of Ukraine because it will look like a significant loss for him.

In a Youtube video, Trump said to let Putin do what he wants and see how it plays out. He said that he spoke to Putin in serious conversation while he was still in office and added that the Russian leader got his drift and no invasion of Ukraine will happen. The impression was that the one in Moscow took it to the point.

Biden was an easy mark for his mistakes in Afghanistan, rising inflation, and the rampaging border crisis that is unmaking the US in many ways that have sunk it in the eyes of the world.

It was the start of the disrespect America got by what the Democrat president has done, the moment of weakness that caused the turmoil in Ukraine.

Hice remarked that Russia is not a partner of the US, but they think it's someone they can negotiate with or reach an agreement with. The administration is mistaken about it.

According to the Republican lawmaker, the Biden government has given Moscow greater leverage by simply allowing Russia to supply oil to other European countries while the US "disregards" its energy security. He added that Biden empowered the Kremlin to do what it wants and when it wants to.

Putin is trying to make the US look bad, making him an enemy, treated as one too. Hice stated the Russia-Ukraine war occurred when Trump's absence was opportune, and the leadership of the US is at an all-time low.
