A Russian missile attack struck a Zaprozhye Arms Depot that destroyed the west-supplied arms store. Moscow warned the US and its allies not to supply arms to the Neo-Nazis and Supremacist forces attacking civilians. These western arms are allegedly used on non-military targets; Russia warned they would destroy these arms.
Ukraine Arms Depot Struck
As part of its campaign to de-nazify Ukraine as part of Vladimir Putin's goal, Russia's Defense Ministry, a significant amount of weaponry and ammunition sent to Kiev by Western countries was destroyed in southeastern Ukraine last Wednesday, reported RT.
The Ukrainian military set up a depot in the Zaporizhzhia industrial aluminum plant targeted by hypersonic Kalibr missiles launched by the Russian Black Sea fleet.
According to the ministry, the West gave a large cache of foreign weapons and ammunition to arm their proxy war with Russia, reported Fars News.
Overnight, Russian jets bombed 59 Ukrainian military sites as artillery launched 573 strikes against Kiev forces; 18 drones were also shot down, according to the report.
On Monday, Moscow confirmed the devastation of six railway hubs in western Ukraine, alleging the West used them to transport foreign weaponry and military equipment to Ukrainian forces.
Russia has warned the activities of the US, UK, and EU will not stop the war. Their lethal aid will prolong the war and create the worst instability in pursuing their proxy war that will not bring peace to Ukraine.
Warning From Russia
On Tuesday, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov repeated a warning to the US and its allies, stating this shipment in the Zaprozhye Arms Depot is a legitimate target for a Russian missile attack.
He added they would be all depots and storage for such weapons of war; this includes western Ukraine, which has become a target. Charging that NATO is at war with Russia via a proxy and arming them, noted Axios. War is war.
On the other hand, NATO members have already equipped Kiev with anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile systems, military vehicles, howitzers, and other weapons and show no evidence of relenting.
ON MONDAY, the US announced that a 40-country meeting would be convened at its Ramstein airfield in Germany to discuss how to support Kiev in its fight with Moscow further.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin remarked that Washington would do everything to accommodate the needs of Kiev as the short war expected against Russia is taking longer as the Ukrainians are experiencing setbacks. One solution is to send more arms to Ukraine to help Kyiv from losing ground.
Both Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Kiev to reassure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of the West's support.
Russia launched a war on its neighbor in late February after Ukraine's unwillingness to implement the provisions of the 2014 Minsk agreements and Moscow's eventual recognition of the Donbas republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.
Kyiv is guilty of not complying with neutrality and has lied that it did not intend to attack the DPR and LPR with aggressive intent.
Targeting the Zaprozhye Arms Depot with a Russian missile attack has lessened the arms Ukrainians could use against civilians in the Donbas. It will be a warning to the West as well.
