In the midst of Johnny Depp's high-profile defamation battle with ex-wife Amber Heard, a women's abuse organization recently expressed its support for him.

After she penned an opinion article in 2018 alleging she was a victim of domestic violence, Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for $50 million for slander. Johnny Depp has continuously rejected the charges, stating that Amber Heard physically harmed him while Amber Heard has testified tearfully in the previous two weeks that she was battered and sexually abused by Johnny Depp throughout their relationship.

Throughout the proceedings - including Depp's prior court action against The Sun - a number of well-known celebrities have weighed in on the couple, with Heard gaining widespread support. Amber Heard Admits Hitting Johnny Depp

Amber Heard admits to hitting Johnny Depp many times during her defamation trial evidence. The actress claimed that she slapped her ex-husband out of self-defense. It's worth noting that the two actors are now involved in a multimillion-dollar defamation dispute in a Virginia court that has sparked a lot of public attention and scrutiny.

Amber Heard entered the stand for the fourth day of her evidence on Wednesday, talking about how Johnny would allegedly become violent at times and she had to "defend herself" by beating him back.

"I've never assaulted Depp or anyone else that I've been romantically linked to, ever," Amber Hear told Johnny Depp's attorney when asked about an earlier domestic violence allegation against her. Amber Heard, in turn, has claimed that she has been physically and sexually abused by Johnny Depp, who has vehemently denied these allegations.

For those unfamiliar with the case, the verdict in the ongoing Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp trial is scheduled on May 27. The two actors met over a decade ago while filming The Rum Diary and married in 2015, but separated less than two years later, as per Filmibeat.
