Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko reveals a plan that the Pentagon is plotting to attack and destroy the Russian Black Sea fleet as part of Washington's undeclared war on Russia. But these claims were denied by American officials disavowing these as unfounded claims by an internal Affairs Ministry adviser.

Washington Denies Involvement

Gerashchenko posted on Twitter last Thursday, alleging that talks are in process regarding how the Americans can help Kyiv desperately end the sea blockade of the Black Sea, reported RT.

He added the US is planning an offensive against the Black Sea Fleet Kiev has lost control of its ports. Claimed that Ukraine sailors on Russian warships have prompted the US to support a drive to end the port blockades.

Kyiv also alleges that Washington will deliver naval strike weapons like the Harpoon and Naval Strike missiles in a range of 250 to 300 km. This turned out to be a false statement, and no talks were underway with the Press United.

On a Friday press brief, wherein the Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby stated that Anton Gerashchenko's claims are unfounded, this allegation reveals a change of Washington's tune toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Gerashchenko cited a Reuters report alleging the Biden administration is supposed to be working to arm the Ukraine forces with ship killer missiles.

Kyiv has been resolutely defeated at sea despite Zelensky's claims of winning; the Internal Affairs Ministry adviser name dropped these advanced missiles.

Pentagon Officials Remark

Nevertheless, the report stated some difficulties in delivering such weapons to Kyiv, such as the limited availability of systems to launch Harpoons from shore because it is a sea-based missile. The Ukrainian official stressed it would counter the blockade of the Black Sea fleet.

Anonymous US officials remarked the White House is finding answers like removing a ship-mounted launcher for land use. When asked about the missiles, Kirby said not to get ahead of decisions that haven't been made.

Furthermore, the US speaks with Kyiv officials daily, according to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, speaking with Ukraine Minister of Defense Alexey Reznikov on Friday. Pentagon Press Secretary remarked that decisions they must make issued a press release.

US Allegedly Involved in Sinking of Russian Ship

Reported anti-ship munitions talk come after media reports citing Washington has assisted Ukrainian forces in sinking Russia's Black Sea flagship, the guided-missile cruiser 'Moskva,' off from the coast of Odesa last month.

Kirby denied these claims that the US was involved in sinking the ship. Several versions of how it sank were suggested, like a blast in the munition's magazine, and one sailor was killed after it sank.

The recent passage of a massive new $40 billion aid package brings total US assistance since March to nearly $54 billion. Despite previous comments from Pentagon officials that weapon was off the table, the latest aid bill is presumed to include Patriot anti-air missile batteries.

A Ukrainian official gave conflicting statements the Pentagon is planning to help overwhelm Kyiv attack the Black Sea fleet.
