According to speculations, Vladimir Putin may be removed due to growing dissatisfaction with the way the Ukrainian war has played out.
Following the catastrophic invasion of Ukraine, a coup is now a viable option. According to the Latvian news site Meduza, Kremlin insiders allege that among government officials and Russian elites, there are hardly any individuals who are content with Putin.
Vladimir Putin's Health Scare
It did, however, add that negotiation over who would succeed Russian President Vladimir Putin - whose health has been the topic of speculation - are still ongoing, citing anonymous sources, The Sun reported.
According to several reports, Putin has had surgery for his health problems. Putin has cancer and is having chemotherapy as well as steroid treatment. Other accounts indicate the warmonger has Parkinson's disease or early-stage dementia, although several experts believe he began cancer treatment or had surgery before the conflict began.
Former British intelligence operative Christopher Steele stated that the Russian leader was unable to attend a meeting of his security council because he needed medical care.
Professor Valery Solovei, a Russian physicist, and historian said that Putin had emergency surgery in February. The Moscow Times reported in April 2022 that journalist Alexei Venediktov asked Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov if it was true that Putin did not have cancer, to which Peskov replied: "correct"
However, multiple instances of Putin's missed commitments, as well as his absence during a state television broadcast, have fueled concern about his health. The Kremlin leader appeared to be ill in many televised programs.
An interview with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko published on May 23, 2022, showed the Russian autocrat slumped over and twitching. Not only was his presence disturbing, but many speculated that the meeting had been pre-recorded to compensate for Putin's purported absence.
General SVR, a Telegram account purportedly managed by a former Russian Foreign Intelligence Service employee, has also aired several Putin health claims.
According to the Russian Telegram Channel General SVR, Putin underwent surgery in the middle of the night between May 16 and 17. The narrative did not specify what operation was performed, although other speculations said it was for stomach cancer.
The identity of the Telegram account is still unknown, but it has been linked to several persons ranging from Ukrainian intelligence agencies to a notable former Kremlin insider, and Vladislav Surkov, whom Putin charged with leading Russian operations in the Donbas in 2014, according to Mirror.
Ukraine Intelligence: Putin Has Few More Years Left
Meanwhile, a Ukrainian intelligence official claims that Vladimir Putin is suffering from several terrible ailments, including cancer, but that he will not die tomorrow. Kyrylo Budanov, the commander of Kyiv's military intelligence, believes Putin has a few more years in him.
According to the major-general, Putin was the target of an assassination attempt immediately after commencing his invasion. He stated that the failed proposal was made by Caucasus representatives, but provided no other specifics.
Budanov, 36, stated that the Ukrainians believe Putin has cancer in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, but did not add to an advance snippet from the interview that disclosed an apparent assassination effort on him.
Whispers regarding Putin's health began at least two years ago, when he was reported to be suffering from both Parkinson's and cancer, but have resurfaced in the aftermath of his invasion of Ukraine.
The Kremlin has not responded to the newest reports about Putin's illness but has always denied that he is unwell. It comes as the conflict in Ukraine escalates against Russia, which had prepared a days-long special operation to decapitate the government and restore the nation to Moscow's so-called sphere of influence, as per Daily Mail.
