President Joe Biden is doubling down on record inflation in the last 40 years caused by Vladimir Putin, not reckless sanctions.

Instead of taking responsibility for it, he says Russia started it, but many say high prices occurred earlier, but he denies it.

Biden Denies Causing Record Inflation

Last Friday, the US president stated that Putin's actions caused the high gas prices at the pump, which is getting debunked; he continually ignores that polls showing has poor attempts are at taming high prices, reported RT.

An engagement at the port of Los Angeles wherein he touted efforts of the Biden administration to ease supply chain backlogs. He also played the blame game by asking congress to press global shipping companies that have unnecessarily raised prices due to the pandemic.

Many of his critics blame his policies, from energy to immigration, even the loss of Afghanistan, and other international failures, cited Freight Waves.

Biden's speech comes after the Bureau of Labor Statistics published a report indicating how consumer prices rose to 8.6% in May starting from 12 months earlier, the highest inflation rate since 1981. But the president prefers to deny the evidence and not take accountability.

It gets so bad for consumers that White House policies cause high food and gasoline prices, going up to 8.6%. Proof that it is not Russia's fault is gas prices were rising from last year and peaked in June.

President Joe Biden and attempts to transfer blame for record inflation have only made it worse, the burden of proof is against his claims.

Critics cite several inaccuracies mentioned in that speech, and he blamed Putin's price hike afflicting America. Another one is how robust is the US job market from the Second World War.

Putin Blamed for Inflation

Despite Biden's arguments, the US inflation rate has been increasing substantially since his inauguration in January, soaring from 1.4 percent in December 2020 to 7% in December 2021, merely two months before Russia's military campaign in Ukraine started.

In December 2020, gas prices climbed from an average of $2.28 per gallon; a year later, in 2021, it will become $3.40.

Conservatives critical of Biden have any reason to call his administration wayward due to many alleged policies that are anti-American, especially sidelining fossil fuels from day one.

These include banning drilling and shutting down the Canada-US Keystone XL pipeline in his first week, which led to all energy-related problems. He issued bans on Russian gas and oil imports that make a small part of US energy imports, noted Mass News.

Polls show that 71% of Americans disapprove of the poor handling of inflation, indicated an NBC News poll last weekend. Furthermore, concerns like inflation and the economy mattered to voters; also, high prices are a crucial point for which Biden has no competency.

Overall, these concerns are low on the president's card, and many Democrats are not confident of what comes next.

Last Friday, the president said they would lower the prices of prescription drugs, and internet costs might save families money, but to make up for higher fuel prices is not good enough. Joe Biden tries to pass the blame for the record inflation that began the day he took office; using Putin as a scapegoat only makes the situation worse as he is seen as not improving problems.
