A former royal police officer has referred to Prince Andrew as a "horrible little man" who "has things to answer" about his relationship with convicted sex traffickers.
Paul Page worked as an armed security guard at Buckingham Palace for the Royal Family for six years. He has since criticized the Duke for refusing to cooperate with US authorities in responding to inquiries regarding his purported connections to sex offenders Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
Prince Andrew Never Cooperate With Officials in US, UK
However, Page stated that he believes Prince Andrew will never cooperate with law enforcement, whether they are in the US or the UK. Just one day prior to his shocking remarks, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her heinous part in recruiting and abusing girls with the convicted pedophile Epstein.
In the controversial interview he gave in 2019, Prince Andrew discussed his connections to Maxwell and Epstein. He acknowledged that he had known Maxwell from her time as an Oxford student. The two were frequently seen together since they belonged to the same social circles, but he denied ever being close friends with her, as per Mirror.
Maxwell was given a 20-year prison term on Tuesday for her part in the horrifying sexual attacks of young girls. Prince Andrew was involved in his own controversy with the late financier when Maxwell went on trial at the conclusion of the previous year.
The prince recently reached a settlement in a legal lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's victims. The civil matter was resolved in March when Prince Andrew made a cash deal with Giuffre, despite his repeated denials of the accusations.
No culpability was admitted in the deal reached outside of court. The Queen divested him of his military titles and patronages, and he has since resigned from his royal responsibilities.

Prince Andrew Might be Arrested
Per Daily Express, Maxwell expressed hope that her punishment will provide her victims with "some amount of closure and finality" just before she was given the 20-year term. The British socialite admitted that she had the biggest regret of my life in having met Epstein and that she had wished to acknowledge the misery of her victims.
Maxwell entered the courthouse in the Southern District of New York for the hearing wearing a prison uniform and rattling ankle shackles as she made her way to her seat. She was granted the option to speak, and the court was shocked when she decided to.
Prior to the trial, Maxwell had declined to give a witness statement in her own defense. "Your honor, it is hard for me to address the court after listening to the pain expressed in the statements made here today," she said in a protracted statement. According to reports, Prince Andrew was "bewildered" and "mad" over claims that he didn't cooperate with the FBI during its Epstein probe.
In order to be placed under custody, disgraced Prince Andrew has been invited to go to the United States. Spencer Kuvin, who defended nine of Jeffrey Epstein's victims in court, issued the ironic invitation, as per Daily Star.
Questions continue over his genuine participation with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell despite his out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre for a sum reported to be around $14.4 million, which was done without any admission of guilt.
Giuffre had accused Andrew of assaulting her sexually while she was just 17 years old. Prince Andrew rejects the accusations made against him, and the agreement was not an admission of guilt.
