Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal had several monickers. One of them was 'Superman' because his unstoppable power inside the paint helped him win four NBA championship titles in his 19-year stellar career.

However, when he retired from basketball, he brought a new meaning to being 'Superman' through his random acts of generosity, especially to those who need help--just like the beloved comic book hero.

Through the years, Shaq's kindness has been recorded and spread on social media, proving that the 7'1 hard court icon's heart is just as big as he is. Seeing O'Neal bringing smiles to people's faces brings good vibes and inspires people to give back to the community.

Big Diesel Delivers Happiness

Recently, another work of charity by the Big Diesel was caught on cam. This time it happened in northern Texas.

According to a report from Hot 107.9, Shaq purchased a mansion in the Dallas area. Currently, he is strolling around the city to reach out to those who may need help.

Front Office Sports reports that the mansion he bought in suburban Dallas was listed at $1.22 million.

In a clip posted on Instagram, the gentle giant is seen approaching a seemingly homeless woman on a bench. Shaq handed her food. But the woman asked if he could give her one dollar.

Shaq replied to the woman: How about 100 dollars? Then he gives her the money and tells her to stay safe.

Surprise Treat for a Young Family

In a separate video clip also taken from the Dallas area, Shaq is seen giving a couple a 70-inch television in addition to a washing machine.

According to a report from Page Six, basketball hero Shaquille O'Neal struck up a conversation with a couple in Best Buy over the weekend and ended up paying for the washing machine they had intended to purchase as well as giving them a 70-inch TV just for fun.

Since Shaq O'Neal enjoys discovering new stuff in the digital world, he was wandering through an electronics store in Dallas when he saw a young family searching for a washing machine.

The basketball analyst talked to the family, and after their brief chat, Shaquille O'Neal, 50, gave the family a sweet surprise. He reportedly drew his credit card and purchased a few appliances, including a huge television.

When asked for a reaction about his recent good deeds going viral, O'Neal said, "I just want to make people happy."

In recent months, O'Neal's philanthropy has made headlines. Sportskeeda reported that he recently gave the victims of the Tops Friendly Markets store shooting his $50,000 DJ fee from his Buffalo performance. Additionally, he made an extra step to tip the waiters at the New York restaurant Jue Lan Club by $2,500.

Shaq said he often gives waiters big tips because he appreciates them.

"I always ask them and give them the ability to tell me what they want. I asked them, 'What do you want?' Biggest tip you've ever had because I want them to remember me. I always want to leave the impression that I am a nice guy."
