Duma Speaker says Volodymyr Zelensky does not want a trial of Azov-Nazis that will expose his war crimes against the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics. Many Ukrainian combatants have given up recently or been killed in battle, but those still alive threaten Kyiv.
Ukraine Fears To Be Exposed for War Crimes
Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the Duma, described what might occur in a public trial, making the former comic Ukrainian leader shudder at the idea of handing over and capturing Ukrainian Nazis, reported RT.
The Ukrainian leader is determined to keep the truth hidden at all costs, even going so far as to threaten to halt negotiations with Moscow if the trial of Russia's proxies in Mariupol proceeds as scheduled.
On Tuesday, the Duma leader questioned why Zelensky disapproved of the tribunals via social media. Perhaps he has something to conceal from everyone, noted CSM Times.
The Duma speaker referred to the Monday warning against the DPR's proposed trial of the Ukrainian soldier captured by its Russian ally. He referred to it as a "red line" that would end diplomacy and a "show trial" to put Volodymyr Zelensky in the dock.
In the Battle of Mariupol, DPR forces and their Russian allies defeated Ukrainian forces. Even the infamously cruel Azov-Nazis became POWs.
They acted criminally towards civilians and captured soldiers, and held Nazi beliefs. There are even instances of killing and torturing alleged Russian collaborators.
To expose the horrific scale of the war crimes committed by Ukraine, Volodin urged a public trial.

He asserted that Russia would punish those who planned it, acted as intermediaries, and carried it out in the harshest way imaginable.
Moscow believes that the executioner carried out a request from the Ukrainian government. It has denied accusations that it was responsible for the bombing.
Russia Rebukes Washington's Remarks
The US Department of State's response to the high-profile murder and the evidence that Russia made public as part of the investigation, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova, on social media on Tuesday, cast doubt on Washington's claim that it cares about human rights, mentioned The Tread Times.
