In a new audio clip, Britney Spears declares that she is now an atheist while also responding to her estranged son Jayden's recent talk on Instagram.
Britney Spears also discussed how her conservatorship, which ended last year, and how she was treated by her children and relatives led her to become an atheist, saying that her father Jamie, 70, "Needs to be in jail for the rest of his life."
Jayden Claims Britney Spears Was Saved Through Conservatorship
The singer seemed to be reacting to Jayden's recent interview with ITV News, in which he claimed that while his damaged relationship with the chart-topper can be repaired it will take a lot of time. In a recent interview, Jayden expressed his concern that the pop star's sexually explicit social media posts are something to garner attention and that they may never end.
Despite their disputes, Jayden claimed he does want to see Britney Spears again. He currently resides with his brother Sean Preston at Kevin Federline's Los Angeles house. Before her release last November, her 13-year conservatorship, he continued, had lasted a little too long, but her father Jamie had merely first been trying to chase her goal.
His father, to whom Britney Spears was married from 2004 to 2007, reiterated the same in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia on Sunday. He claimed that the pop star's father had conservatorship saved her and had her best interests at heart. Last month, Britney Spears said she hadn't seen her sons in months.
The boys, according to their father, didn't even attend their mother's June wedding to American-Iranian model Sam Asghari out of a wish to avoid the circus around her private life. In reaction, Britney Spears claimed in a since-deleted Instagram post that her sons had deserted her and were cruel. Kevin then apparently released videos of the singer yelling at her sons as children, according to Daily Mail.
Former backup dancer Kevin Federline praised Jamie as well, saying the conservatorship saved the singer when it started in 2008. Jayden also claimed the conservatorship was like a father caring for his daughter in an interview with ITV. Before getting engaged and eventually getting married in September 2004, Kevin Federline and Britney Spears had a three-month relationship.
Britney Spears asserted that the conservatorship was unnecessary in the videotape that was made public last week. The limits, she claimed, "made me feel like I was nothing and I went along with it because I was terrified. I didn't really do anything, I had a whole swab squad, nothing made any sense," as per Mirror.
Britney Spears' Ex-Husband Also Defends Jamie
During an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, when Kevin Federline was questioned if Britney Spears' father had made the correct decision in establishing the conservatorship, he responded that he saw a man who cared completely and that Jamie had saved Britney at the time.
Federline claimed that he believed Jamie took on the role of conservator because no one else was prepared to. Kevin clarified his position on the matter by stating that he had to look after his boys, thus he stood apart from everything.
Between 2004 and 2007, Kevin Federline, 44, and Britney Spears had two boys, Sean, 16, and Jade, 15. Kevin received 70% of their children's custody following their divorce in 2019. Jamie and Lynne Spears are his children's grandparents, and he thinks they must have a close relationship with them.
Federline has also acknowledged that he hasn't spoken to his ex-wife in years because the two of them couldn't manage their schedules to make time for one another. When the kids were smaller, "We'd talk," he remarked.
In the meantime, Britney and her husband Sam Asghari both responded to Kevin's interview on Instagram by criticizing him for the remarks he said. Asghari, an Iranian-American model and actor who is 28 years old, made fun of Kevin in a post on his since-deleted Instagram story, Meaww reported.
