The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Ukrainian forces were subject to artillery and missile bombardment, which was costly for Kyiv. Officials indicate that enemy troops were lost in the hundreds during the withering assault, claimed the MoD.
Russia Conducts Massive Attacks on Ukrainian Military
According to the Russian Defense Ministry on Tuesday, military forces have opened a fierce offensive against the Ukrainian army on all fronts, with Kyiv experiencing more than 800 fatalities in only one day, reported RT.
It mentioned that the Russian Air Force, missile forces, and artillery are launching violent attacks on Ukrainian Armed Forces units across all command-and-control zones.
Conducting precise attacks through the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade's unit deployment in areas near the eastern Ukrainian towns of Slavyansk and Konstantinovka, noted CSM Times.
Both the 115th Mechanized Brigade adjacent to Artemovsk and the 53rd Mechanized Brigade just next to Kurdyumovka, located in the Donetsk Region, struck these locations.
Using the information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, several enemy units in the south and north, close to Kharkiv, were the targets of the fierce assaults. The strike was so severe that 800 Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries were killed or injured by artillery and missile bombardment, citing the Thread Times.
Although Ukraine refers to this as a retreat, Russia and its allies did withdraw from some areas to regroup. The Ukrainian army was able to take over the Russian-occupied territory, though not with a resounding victory, as President Zelensky claims.
On February 24, Russia dispatched troops into Ukraine, accusing it of not carrying out the Minsk agreements meant to grant the Donetsk and Lugansk regions special status inside the Ukrainian nation.
Protocols were first signed in 2014 after being mediated by Germany and France. Former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko now admits that the ceasefire was primarily intended to buy time and strengthen military forces.
The Kremlin acknowledged the Donbas republics as autonomous regions in February 2022 and requested that Ukraine proclaim itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military coalition. Kyiv continues to maintain that the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.
No Mobilization of Armed forces
As said by Dmitry Peskov, the deployment of military reserves is not scheduled. The Russian government is not addressing military militarization "at around this time," remarked the Kremlin spokesman, per RT.
He was answering questions regarding Moscow's response to Ukrainian forces' breakthroughs in the Kharkov Region the other week.
Moscow withdrew its troops from several settlements in the area for a "regrouping" needed to continue the military campaign against Kyiv, based on the Russian Defense Ministry.
There was "neither discussion" of redeployment, and various pundits have critiqued the high command, the ministry for the retreat, and Ukrainian gains.
He added that the Russian public backed Russian President Vladimir Putin's choice to strike Ukraine and was extremely sensitive to happenings, suggesting that certain individuals would react emotionally to last week's shortfall.
For months, Western military experts have said that Moscow could well increase its deployment after their previous forecasts of a rapid fall of the Ukrainian government failed to happen.
The previous high point for such forecasts took place in early May when Moscow celebrated the commemoration of its victory over Nazi Germany.
Based on the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian forces were hit hard with artillery and missile bombardment to kill many enemy soldiers and hardware.
