On the field in Buffalo on Monday night, an ambulance had to be dispatched to a terrifying injury sustained by Bills cornerback Dane Jackson.
One Bills player was making a tackle against the Tennessee Titans when another player stepped in to assist and accidentally hit Jackson. He was already lying flat on the ground when his neck appeared to snap back violently. The play was halted when Jackson felt pain, according to Fox News.
Dane Jackson's Scary Injury
Jackson was taken off the field on a backboard and gurney with his neck immobilized while the rest of the Bills team was still on the field. Highmark Stadium's sold-out crowd was silent until they spotted Jackson, at which point a raucous cheer for him broke out.
Dane Jackson was moving his legs during the game, resulting in it being postponed for about 10 minutes as team trainers responded to him. Then, he was loaded onto a stretcher and driven in an ambulance through the stadium tunnel.

Jackson, a Pittsburgh native selected in the 2020 seventh round of the draft, had three tackles on Monday and last week contributed an interception in the Bills' victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Jackson started the season in Tre'Davious White's stead due to an injury.
