According to a top official, despite supporting Ukraine, NATO is not in a war with Russia's armed forces. Even sending arms to Kyiv will be used to attack civilians in the Donbas and maim or kill Russian troops.
Bloc Sends Weapons and Not Be Part of the Conflict
Robert Bauer, the chairman of the NATO Military Committee, released a statement on Tuesday outlining their stance. Even if they send numerous shipments of weapons to support Ukraine to fight Russia, they are not involved, he continued, reported RT.
At the end of the interview, Bauer, a NATO representative, was directly questioned by the host of Estonian public broadcaster ERR about whether or not the military alliance's significant aid deliveries to Ukraine suggest that it is at least partially at war with Moscow.
This was swiftly disregarded and made abundantly clear that there was no war between the two parties, as he continued to explain.
However, it was later clarified that since Ukraine is not an official member, there is no conflict, even though there would be war if one member were assaulted.
NATO Clarifies Support to Ukraine, Not at War with Kremlin
As said by top official Bauer, the military bloc is stating clearly to Moscow that if Russia's armed forces attacked one of its NATO members, the ally will be supported, noted GenX Newz.
According to a Western military alliance official, only an attack would result in war between the military bloc and Russia; however, no such attack has ever occurred.
The official said it was up to Kyiv to decide how the conflict must end and that one of NATO's main aims was safeguarding Ukraine's independence.
Insisted that Moscow return the territories it took after the Ukrainians failed to hold on to them on February 24. Vladimir Putin recognizes the western military bloc's ridiculous ploy.
Ukraine would not have lasted this long if NATO members had not sent supplies and weapons to Kyiv when the Russian special military operation began in February.
As seen by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in March, Western military support has been continuous since 2014, with the bloc sending military aid and hardware to prepare for this type of dispute.
Moscow told the US and its club of anti-Russia allies that giving weapons to Ukraine was a mistake; giving it weapons and hardware would allow Kyiv to last and cause trouble.
Ukrainians will utilize all the armaments supplied to battle Russians without inflicting suffering on Washington.
He asserts that Kyiv's ongoing support will only lengthen the carnage without changing the conflict's regional outcome.
NATO Chief Encourages Increase of Arms Stockpiles
Most Allied member states had also significantly depleted their own weapons inventories by providing weapons to Ukraine, based on the military alliance's secretary general, citing Fars News.
Stoltenberg urged the weapons industry to aid in regenerating the drained weapons caches. He went on to say that replenishing those stocks is one of the coalition's primary concerns.
Another Western military top focus is working collaboratively with the defense industry to boost production, said the organization's chief.
Bauer stressed that NATO is not having hostilities with Russia's armed forces; despite sending arms to kill civilians and Russian soldiers.
