A song by Queen that was never before released and was written with Freddie Mercury will soon be heard.
A dramatic ballad named 'Face It Alone,' which was recorded with the famous vocalist during sessions for Queen's 1989 'The Miracle' album, was made public on Thursday after months of teasers from guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor.

In a press statement regarding the song, May, 72, also mentioned that former Queen member John Deacon, who quit the group in 1997, contributed to it as well.
'Face It Alone' will be included on a box set reissue of the album it was originally recorded for and was written just a few years before Freddie Mercury's death in 1991 at age 45 from complications connected to AIDS.
In a BBC Radio 2 interview in June, May and Taylor initially alluded to the release of 'Face It Alone.' The drummer told host Zoe Ball, "We did unearth a little gem from Freddie that we'd kind of forgotten about, and it's amazing," as per People.
When Taylor first heard the song, he called it a little treasure from Freddie Mercury that we'd kind of forgotten about. May echo this sentiment and said, "It's nice, it's touching."
'Face It Alone' was first recorded in 1988 as part of the creation of the album 'The Miracle', which was made in the wake of the band's final concert together in Knebworth Park, when they infamously played in front of a crowd of about 160,000 people.
The band recorded 30 tracks during the sessions, many of which were never made public. One such song that audiences never got to hear, until today, was 'Face It Alone.' The band members said that the time they spent in the studio together during Mercury's sickness was the time they had ever worked together most closely.
When 'The Miracle' was first released in 1989, it was a worldwide triumph and peaked at number one in the UK and several other European nations. The special album will include six previously unreleased tracks, including 'Dog With A Bone,' 'I Guess We're Falling Out,' 'You Know You Belong To Me,' and 'Face It Alone,' as well as original takes, demos, and rough versions.
Freddie Mercury can be heard saying things like, "Before we all pass out, can I just try this," in a collection of rarely spoken outtakes from the album's recording sessions. on the song 'I Want It All,' according to Independent.

Since the release of the Queen Forever album in 2014, which featured three previously unreleased songs with Mercury titled 'Let Me In Your Heart Again,' 'Love Kills,' and The first brand-new song with the artist is the single, 'There Must Be More to Life Than This.'
Mercury, who was widely regarded as rock's greatest frontman, passed away in 1991 at the age of 45 from complications related to his HIV diagnosis. Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon formed the iconic rock band in 1970. They collaborated on popular songs like 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'We Will Rock.'
The album, which at the time featured the songs 'I Want It All,' 'Breakthru,' and 'The Invisible Man,' peaked at number one in the UK. It is now accessible in the form of an eight-disc collector's edition box set.
The Miracle Sessions, an hour-plus disc of additional previously unheard recordings that includes six unpublished tracks, is one of the items in the extended package. It also features the band's verbal interactions on the recording studio floor in London and Montreux, providing an insightful look into the four members' personal lives and creative processes, Daily Mail reported.
