The Republican Party failed to materialize a good showing in most races, which was manifested by terrible midterm results, despite the flak democrats got. Ironically, they did not max out despite the criticisms against Joe Biden, who has the worst polls ever.

Republican Party's Poor Midterm Results

According to US political expert Simon Dolan and an author of Trump: The Hidden Halo, the GOP missed the train despite Biden's toxicity to his own party, reported Express UK.

Further warned that Dems will not be good due to the GOP failing to win decisively in both houses. It will only make the Biden administration capitalize on the faulty results. If it was a referendum on the fitness of Biden, then they've got a win. No matter which side one is on, it cannot be denied the GOP has had an awful day.

Imagine a cognitively challenged and divisive leader who has ushered in the worst inflation and recession in decades. It should have been a strong message, but the GOP is now on the defensive. Mentions it after the poor midterm showing of the Republican party that will have many confused that Donald Trump is not the one to save America.

The US senate needs 51 seats to be the majority party, but the loss of the Nevada seat assures the Dems. A tie in Georgia between Democrat incumbent Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker will be settled by a runoff election, but despite the terrible midterm results, Democrats have control, noted ABC News.

Midterm Results To Benefit Democrats

For the House that needs 218 seats to control it, the Dems have only 203 seats, with seven flipped by the GOP, with a total of 212 seats captured, it has gotten seven.

But, the GOP is facing brighter prospects in the House; elections in Arizona, New York, New Mexico, and Virginia are set to be in red, not blue.

Dolan remarked the Georgia elections are a close contest, indicating that it is still GOP despite some Dems making inroads.

One example is the governor race wherein GOP Brian Kemp polished off Stacy Abrams easily, in Texas where Greg Abbott booted out Beto O'Rourke. He showed that the Democratic party could take its politics elsewhere.

It seems the Georgia Dems are now booted out, and Kemp is dominant with a majority from 2018. It was unexpected despite his conservative and outspoken leadership. Dolan expressed that the south is still red, with Texas becoming a GOP stalwart.

Biden Gaffes Again in Asia

While attending the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit, US President Joe Biden misstated that Cambodia is Colombia in his speech, citing Anadolu.

He said that hosting at the White House last May and now meeting in Cambodia, further stating that he is making more progress on former work done. Thanking the leadership of 'Colombia' as the ASEAN chair. Later repeated the mistake but corrected himself this time.

In the recently held Midterms, the Republican party needed to reassess the terrible results, but the Democrats gained control of the House.
