Queens man, responsible for horrific triple homicide after running amuck in a nightmarish stabbing spree, was arrested covered in blood last Saturday. His victims were his relatives, including his 65-year-old grandmother, a woman with cerebral palsy. He tried to escape but got apprehended after running out of gas on the Virginia interstate.

Queens Man Commits Triple Homicide

The rampaging killer, Jabari Burrell, 22, was finally arrested at Interstate 95 when Virginia state cops saw him driving the stolen van of his dead granny; on the shoulder of the highway, reported NY Daily News.

According to the police, the murder suspect preferred to waive his Miranda rights. He admitted to doing the triple murder in which his relatives were cruelly stabbed many times.

Burrell's statement includes details of brutal attacks that transpired in two bedrooms at the Springfield Gardens home. He lived in the house before the murderous rampaging stabbing spree, noted Finance Yahoo.

Last Friday, the triple homicide took place before dawn that took the life of his aunty Patrice Johnson, 26, step-aunt Latoya Gordon, 47, and lastly, his grandma Hyacinth Brown-Johnson in their single unit home on 182nd St. near 146th Drive.

Investigators found the bodies of all three women victims got knifed in the head, torso, and neck; Hyacinth had a stab wound on the back too. The blood-soaked murder weapon was discarded in the bathroom, remarked the police. A duo of NYPD detectives went south and did a videotaped interview of Burrell, the Queens man, right after his arrest, said a source.

Suspect Apprehended After Stabbing Spree

The detectives had to wait for warrants to inspect the suspect's vehicle and clothes. Burrell was caught in rural Prince George County, Va., approximately 35 miles from the southern part of Richmond. He will be extradited to Queens should the state police of Virginia see if Burrell did commit the heinous triple murder in New York.

Some details revealed that the victims were killed while sleeping; more info points out that the suspect caused the fatal rampage due to a Family argument.

The landlord remarked that loud thuds were heard on early Friday, about 2:30 and 3:30 a.m; at that time, the suspect was driving away, said the landlord, who identified the 2004 Toyota minivan.

The suspect tried to escape from the crime scene when video cams caught a glimpse of the stolen vehicle that passed the George Washington Bridge and went south.

Health Care Worker Discovers Gruesome Scene

An investigating home health care worker did not expect a horrific scene when visiting the residence at 10:40 a.m. last Friday. The worker was working on Johnson, who is bedridden and afflicted with cerebral palsy, said the police, citing NY Times.

Donna Hewitt, Johnson's cousin, said she could not think straight, saying, "It was hard to believe. And now I've seen it, and it is real."

One explanation for Burrell's rampage is due to an unknown trauma from a year back that caused the madness, with the relative not believing that he killed his grandmother.

Two of the victims were found in one room, while Gordon stayed in the second room. A police cordon was placed in the area.

After a Queens man committed a triple homicide by embarking on a stabbing spree that ended in the deaths of three women, he was caught in another state, not New York.
