On Tuesday, as they denounced Western sanctions, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Russian President Vladimir Putin put up a unified front against their shared "enemy," Washington.

Putin's hands, though, became the focus of social media. Russian President Vladimir Putin's hands appear to be inexplicably turning purple in photos and videos from that meeting, reigniting concerns about his health.

Putin is Obviously Unwell

Throughout the bilateral discussions, Putin was also spotted firmly holding the chair's arm. The Russian president was also observed shifting his legs awkwardly, NDTV reported. Pictures of Vladimir Putin's hands earlier this month with weird markings and a black color caused a stir on social media. Online, it was widely believed to be an intravenous (IV) track mark.

Retired British army commander and House of Lords member Richard Danatt discussed the problem. Lord Dannatt said that "attentive people are now observing that his hands are looking rather black on top, which is a symptom of injections going in when other portions of the body can't take injections."

A US intelligence report from a few months ago claimed that the Russian President could have an "advanced type of cancer." Additionally, the evaluation noted that Putin had escaped an assassination attempt in March of 2017.

The invasion of Ukraine precipitated the most serious conflict with the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, posing the greatest risk to the Russian president's ability to maintain power.

Following this week's photos of Putin meeting with his counterpart from Cuba while holding a discolored hand, there are still persistent rumors about his health. He seemed shaky, wobbly, and was observed holding to his chair amid claims that he has Parkinson's disease and cancer.

According to senior Ukrainian officials, Putin is "fighting for his life" because he believes he will be killed if the conflict in Ukraine is lost. Additionally, when the despot turned 70 last month, worries for Vladimir Putin's health were detailed in secret espionage papers obtained by The Sun Online.

Vladimir Putin's Meeting with Russian Soldiers' Mothers

Putin put on a brave face as he spoke with the mothers and wives, but the meeting was staged, much like most of Putin's public appearances. Putin's staff blocked him from seeing moms who wanted to express their rage over the way his bungled mobilization had put their men in danger.

Although the US claims that more than 100,000 Russian servicemen have been killed or injured in Ukraine, it is unclear whether Putin ever met the mothers of any of them. Some of the ladies Putin personally chose to meet with were instantly recognized by Russian journalists as well-known allies.

Ironically, Putin warned the 17 "mothers" to watch out for "fakes, deceit, and lies" about his war in Ukraine on the internet. The 17 women quickly posed for a group photo with him and seemed delighted, if not overjoyed, to meet him. However, outraged moms who had genuine grievances about the war that went unspoken in his pre-recorded televised conference with "mothers" blasted his own gathering as a disgusting fraud.

Vladimir Putin has made several public appearances since he initiated the conflict in Ukraine, showing concerning indications of deteriorating mental and physical health after months of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a leaked audio recording from May, an oligarch with ties to the Kremlin seems to insinuate that Putin has blood cancer. The President is reportedly "extremely unwell," according to the tape that News Lines magazine got.

The Russian president was spotted in May during a Victory Day Parade in Moscow with a blanket covering his legs. Other images appeared to reveal track markings on his hands, and some observers speculated that these may be the result of intravenous drips.

Per Daily Express, US intelligence sources said they believe Putin received treatment in April for "advanced cancer," however CIA director William Burns said they are unsure of his condition. The Kremlin has consistently denied the claims. Russian Foreign Secretary Sergey Lavrov told French broadcaster TF1: "I don't think that sane people can see in this person signs of some kind of illness or ailment."
