Buffalo Grove Family Found Dead

Police went to check on the woman at 11:12 a.m., when they came across the bodies, reported MEAWW.

Officers were sent to the residence at about 11:12 a.m. to perform a wellness check on a woman, where they found five bodies, but no names were provided. Police have withheld details concerning the victims' ages, genders, potential relationships, reasons for death, and the beginnings of all of this.

Nevertheless, locals told WGN that a boy and a girl in first grade lived in the building, including a husband and wife. Michelle, a neighbor, stated that the family had already lived in the home for around four years. Police have not yet commented, even if the deceased had been a resident or otherwise.

The neighbor also mentioned watching the kids play with their friends and attending family gatherings. Nothing out of the ordinary; it's a big shock to have all of this happen, especially at this time of year.

Michelle stated that she had noticed police activity at the residence for several months. It was noticeable. The area's roads are blocked, and according to the officials, no one is in jeopardy.

Police went even further and mentioned that it was an isolated incident of a family dead, so they were not searching for a suspect in the murder-suicide. According to reports, the Lake County Major Crime Task Force is investigating the incident.

Similar Family Death Incident in Phoenix

In a previously covered case, a family of five was found dead inside a Phoenix residence with "signs of trauma" as to what seemed like a case of suicide plus murder.

Last November 16, at about 8 a.m. in Phoenix, Arizona, a hazardous materials emergency and possibly an incapacitated person had been disclosed at a house close to 7th and Northern Avenues, cited CBS News.

Hazmat teams and police officers arrived at the site rapidly. It was difficult for the fire crews to enter the house because of a gas leak. After a nearby utility, Southwest Gas, cut off service, tenants were told to leave their homes. A hazmat team spent a few hours trying to look inside the house before a public investigation could start by midday.

During a press conference, Phoenix Police Sgt. Melissa Soliz supposedly told the media that two adults and three children had died from what seemed to be trauma. Police revealed none of the departed names and said nobody of interest had been found, but an inquiry into a potential murder has been opened.

Southwest Gas stated to the local media that no leaks had been found in the area, added that they were saddened by the news, and thanked first responders.

Police discovered a family dead in Buffalo Grove during a wellness check and suspected a murder-suicide that is under probe.
