Selena Gomez dismissed internet body shamers after walking the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old pop superstar has lately spoken out against online Selena Gomez fat shaming at the recent Golden Globes.
Selena Gomez stunned in a strapless purple velvet Valentino gown with puffy sleeves, per Cosmopolitan.
The performer, producer, and actress posted a photo on Instagram with her date, her younger sister Gracie Teefey, in which the two discussed the importance of loving one's body, CNN reported.
Gomez said: "I'm a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays. Then she asked her sister, "I mean... right?"
"Yeah!" Responded Teefey.

After she walked the red carpet, critics began to bash her appearance, and many of them urged her to lose weight, but the artist refused to let the Selena Gomez fat shaming discourage her.
Fans expressed their dismay that Selena felt compelled to reply to body-shamers in the comments section of a TikTok video clip of Instagram Live. One fan remarked that no one should ask her to justify the way her body is.
"She's perfect and doesn't need to give explanations," one user commented on the Selena Gomez body shaming incident.
Often a Target of Body Shamers
This is not the first time Selena Gomez has responded angrily to online critics who have made comments about her physical looks.
The actress shut down body shamers on TikTok in April 2022, claiming that she didn't want to be "skinny" if it meant giving up her favorite meals since people complain about her weight anyhow, per NDTV.
The singer-actress was a first-time nominee for her role in Hulu's Only Murders in the Building at the 2023 Golden Globes.
The singer uploaded a video from a previous interview when she expressed her desire to be nominated for the honor after the 2023 nominees were announced.
