Jamin Pugh, popularly known by his wrestling name Jay Briscoe, 38, died in a vehicle accident on Tuesday night, and the wrestling world mourns his passing.
The accident east of Laurel, Delaware, killed the 38-year-old former champion. Lillyanne Ternahan, 27, of Frankford, Delaware, also died in the road mishap.
Police said Jay Briscoe daughters were sent to the hospital in severe condition following the Jay Briscoe car crash incident. Jay's wife Ashley provided an update, saying that their daughters Gracie, 12, were undergoing back surgery and Jayleigh, 9, had critical injuries, but they are now stable. Though, Jay Briscoe daughters reportedly feel severe pain, per FightFul.
The professional wrestling industry lauded Pugh's familial commitment. In one Twitter video, Pugh and one of his children did a cheerleading routine, per WrestlingInc. Most likely, several wrestlers would be embarrassed to share something like that, but Pugh was happy to share it to the public.
Jay Briscoe had a storied career alongside his brother Mark, winning the ROH Tag Team Championships 13 times throughout his career. Briscoe also won two ROH world championships, per an earlier HNGN report.

More Details of The Accident Revealed
More information about the Jay Briscoe car crash was made public by the Delaware State Police, People reported, as per People.
In a press statement, police noted that Jay was driving a 2015 Silverado 2500 eastbound on Laurel Road while Ternahan was heading west in a Silverado. Ternahan's automobile veered into the middle lane and smashed Jay's pickup truck straight in the head.
The wrestler lost his life on the spot because he wasn't using a seatbelt. The other driver also passed away. Police say it's unclear if alcohol played a role in the Jay Briscoe car crash.
