More details are emerging on Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot's costumes for the "Man of Steel" sequel. The latest scoop came from Forbes film blogger Mark Hughes. He took to Twitter to dish on rumors he's heard about the new updated Batsuit and Wonder Woman costume.
According to Hughes, both the new Batsuit and Wonder Woman outfit will be more conservative. The Batsuit won't reveal Affleck's nipples and the Wonder Woman costume is said to be "armored [and] not a skimpy bathing suit."
He also hinted that Henry Cavill's Superman will have a new, updated look, Latino Post reports.
"My guess a/b the 'S' is just b/c Lois told him 'here it's an S.' So maybe he'd change that now that he's called Superman," he said referring to the movie. "And I'd guess maybe a belt or something in the waist-area since the design would benefit from something to break up the blue there."
Hughes had previously said that Warner Bros. was going to reveal the costumes before the end of February but due to delays in production it was pushed back until March.
"FYI I'm hearing that the bat-suit reveal is likely pushed back a bit due to the delay in the filming," he wrote. "That's not confirmed, but I trust the info..."
"The upside is, the reveal sounds like it'll be bigger & cooler than previously thought!" he added.
There's been so much anticipation about Affleck's Batsuit. Kevin Smith, Jennifer Garner and Matt Damon have all been lucky enough to see the suit and have been gushing about how awesome it is.
"I instantly bear hugged [Zack Snyder]," Smith said on his podcast, Fatman on Batman. "You have not seen this costume in a movie or film before, and for a comic book fan, it was mind bending."
"I've seen the suit. The suit is unbelievably cool. It's a total reinvention. It looks great," Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner told Entertainment Tonight.
