The Quincy Police Department was called to a home in residence in the 2500 block of Kentucky Road and found Rebecca Bliefnick, 41, dead with multiple gunshot wounds, and her husband as the main suspect in the violent crime. She was discovered lifeless after she failed to pick up her three boys from school that day.

Estranged Husband Detained

Police in Quincy, Illinois, says that on February 23, they found the victim at home gunned down several times. Allegedly the crime was discovered by a family member who went to the residence at the 2500 block of Kentucky Road since the kids weren't picked up by her, which prompted the authorities, as reported by Meaww.

Details mention that she was separated from her spouse, which led the police to consider their possible suspect who killed the mom of three. Authorities have not made any official arrest for the crime, so they took the man in for questioning, noted Yahoo.

They asked the public to keep themselves in check as they searched for a possible suspect. Rebecca used to be married to Tim Bliefnick,39, with three sons, but they were living separately from each other by the time the victim died.

Reports disclosed what happened on February 23 when the victim was killed. Officers would get to the crime scene at 3:32 pm when the murder was reported and have been working the site from day one. Police Chief Adam Yates added that evidence Is gathered from the crime scene and said their town is quiet though shaken.

Local authorities have assigned about eight investigators to probe Bliefnick's case to resolve it. Her death has pushed her loved one to make flyers with her picture and 'Justice for Becky' with the number of the police department on it.

Yates added their community had not been a hotbed of violence with murders that occurs frequently. News of the recent murder tends to disturb the peace, which cannot return unless the case is solved. He pledged to find the murderer to ease his mind and work hard to achieve that possible conclusion.
