In his WWE return, John Cena accepted Austin Theory's US championship challenge at WrestleMania 39 on Monday Night RAW. During RAW, Cena and Theory delivered exciting promos that got the audience hyped up.

However, according to Wrestling News, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer reports that John Cena will not appear on every RAW or SmackDown broadcast leading up to WrestleMania.

Reports surfaced this week that Cena "will be available for television" over the next few weeks leading to WrestleMania. Though, there has been another shift in circumstances. Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Cena would appear when he can on Raw and SmackDown leading up to WrestleMania.

Meltzer noted that John Cena wrapped up filming his movie last March 4, "but he's got another movie he's starting up on." Therefore, he has a very tight schedule, and most likely, John Cena will be seen on a WWE television program when he's "free."

John Cena WWE Return

Fox News reported that John Cena made his long-awaited WWE return to the red brand on "Monday Night Raw" in Boston last week, where he scheduled a WrestleMania bout for the United States Title against Austin Theory.

As the former 16-time WWE champion walked out on stage, he was met with a roaring ovation and became visibly moved. With the support of his home state's supporters, he sprinted into the ring.

According to WION News, John Cena initially rejected Austin Theory's match proposal, claiming Theory was not prepared. Consequently, the two engaged in verbal sparring, but once he brought the whole WWE world into it, Mr. "Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect" had no option but to agree to face the reigning US Champion Theory on professional wrestling's grandest stage.
