Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant answered the statements made against him by Charles Barkley on 60 Minutes on Sunday by posting his thoughts on social media.

Charles Barkley, a legendary Phoenix Suns player, remarked in the interview that Durant is among the generation of athletes that cannot handle criticisms and called the Suns forward "very sensitive," which reignited the Kevin Durant Charles Barkley beef.

The 60-year-old Basketball Hall of Famer has criticized KD several times in the past. However this time, Kevin Durant thinks Charles Barkley's criticisms are getting old, per Fox News.

Kevin Durant twitted: "This ain't gettin tiring chuck? I'll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it."

The Suns superstar even reposted a statement from a fan to emphasize his point against Sir Charles Barkley. "This is where I'm at wit it..." KD remarked.

The tweet was from user Isaiah Wilhite: "I've never seen you get upset about being criticized in the context of "basketball" but some dude who is constantly calling you "sensitive" & "miserable" that ain't basketball, that's personal and disrespectful."

Charles Barkley, one of the most beloved NBA commentators today, commented that modern NBA players are more easily offended than their predecessors.

The Kevin Durant-Charles Barkley Beef Continues

In recent years, the Kevin Durant Charles Barkley beef intensified. And once again, the "Round Mound of Rebound" was asked to comment on Kevin Durant, that added fuel to the fire.

Barkley remarked: "He's very sensitive. Great player. He's part of that generation who think he can't be criticized." He added that Kevin Durant never reflected on whether the criticism was "fair," per Sports Illustrated.

CBS journalist Jon Wertheim wanted to know whether Charles Barkley agreed with the statement that today's athletes are more easily hurt by negative feedback than the NBA players during Barkley's era in the 1980s-1990s.

"That would be (an) understatement," Charles Barkley noted.

Kevin Durant made it clear that he respects Charles Barkley as an accomplished former NBA basketball player, but that KD has a different view about Barkley's work and demeanor as a sports analyst.

KD said in an episode of his Boardroom podcast: "I'm not saying you should only talk about the positives either, but when you clearly show bias that you're trying to take away from what the players have done, it just looks corny on his part," Clutch Points reported.

NBA Fans Agree With Charles Barkley

The 2019 season saw Kevin Durant switch teams, leaving the Golden State Warriors (where he won back-to-back championships) for the Brooklyn Nets after the latter granted his trade request from the summer.
Durant was moved to the Suns on February 9 from the Nets.

Charles Barkley played for the Phoenix Suns from 1993-1996 and led the team in 1993 NBA Finals but lost to Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls. Sir Charles bagged the Most Valuable Player award that year, though.

Meanwhile, some fans agreed with Charles Barkley's latest criticism of Kevin Durant.

User Basic Beats replied to Kevin Durant's tweet:"You care enough to respond man he obviously bothers you a little bit like at the very least"

Chaz Langley wrote: "Yup! Even "I" got under his skin a while back about the truth he couldn't help but respond to... Chuck's assessment was SPOT ON!"

User James J. posted on Twitter: "The criticism is about the career choices to pursue what they perceive (correctly in my opinion) as the easy route to championships. That's not personal, that's basketball related. Plenty of fans agree. We all know KD is the truth on the court. But we can also be disappointed..."
