Drake Bell's Wife Files for Divorce
But this time, as per TMZ, the former Nickelodeon actor is the talk of the town once again. His 28-year-old wife has reportedly filed for divorce from their marriage.
It is worth noting that the couple is the parents of their one-year-old kid, Wyatt Bell. The documents obtained by the news outlet note that Von Schmeling is asking for their son's physical and primary legal custody. Daily Mail UK notes that Von Schmeling and Bell had been married for roughly four years.
According to People, the wife of the former Nickelodeon star filed a dissolution of marriage petition at the Superior Court in Los Angeles on Thursday. The filing shows that Von Schmeling says she is pursuing this route over "irreconcilable differences" between them.
The court documents show that the wife of Bell is open to granting the actor visitation rights to their one-year-old child. On top of that, Von Schmeling is also requesting spousal support, according to the filing at the Los Angeles court.
As of writing, the "Drake and Josh" star has yet to respond to reports of their divorce.
Mysterious Disappearance of Former Nickelodeon Star
Before the news of his divorce broke, the former Nickelodeon actor was the center of a mysterious disappearance.
A week ago, the former child star went missing in Dayton Beach, Florida. The local police disclosed that authorities are searching for the "Drake and Josh" star after he was reported to have disappeared.
But later that day, the actor was found safe and sound. The Daytona Beach Police Department stated in an update that "we can confirm law enforcement officials are in contact, and Mr. Bell is safe."
The former child actor joked about his mysterious disappearance on a Twitter post, which was deleted later. The "Drake and Josh" star quipped, "You leave your phone in the car and don't answer for the night, and this?"
A police report claims that the search for the former Nickelodeon star began when his brother, Robert Bell, contacted the Orlando Police Department. The actor reportedly blurted out some suicidal statements due to problems in child custody.
Now, the wife of the ex-child star has reportedly filed for the dissolution of their marriage.
