Jamie Foxx is Now in Physical Rehabilitation Center
The renowned actor and comedian has entered a physical rehabilitation center in Chicago, focusing on his recovery from a medical complication, per a TMZ report. The publication's sources said that the multi-talented star, known for his exceptional acting skills and vibrant personality, is now seeking medical care in the renowned facility.
The close family members of Foxx, including his two daughters, Anelise and Corinne, are with him in the facility. The former recently announced that his father was already out of the hospital recovering from his undisclosed medical condition.
Besides the daughters of the actor, the mother of Anelise, Kristin Grannis, is also in Chicago to accompany the star in the rehab facility.
The sources TMZ disclosed that Foxx has been in the medical facility in Chicago since last April. It is worth noting that the medical condition of the renowned actor remained undisclosed.
Despite that, according to Marca, the facility the actor attends largely specializes in certain medical conditions, such as stroke recovery and cancer rehabilitation. The medical center also focuses on restoring spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. However, whether the actor experienced any of these conditions is still unclear.
Foxx's Medical Complication
The daughter of Foxx, Corrine, recently gave an update on her father's condition, noting that "it is sad to see how the media runs wild." But before that, she slammed the media for reporting that the actor's family is "preparing for the worst."
Corrine reveals otherwise, putting the record straight. She says that his father is already recuperating from his "medical condition" and is already out of the hospital for weeks.
The entertainment news websites Radar Online and Daily Loud have since apologized to the family of the renowned actor. They regret that they failed to fact-check their sources, leading them to share misinformation about the condition of Foxx.
Besides Foxx's recovery, his daughter hinted that he might be back to work soon, USA Today reports. Corinne revealed that the renowned star has an "exciting work announcement coming next week."
Last April, the Foxx family announced that the multi-talented star experienced a medical emergency. The actor was filming his upcoming Netflix movie "Back in Action" when the news broke.
