As per a report by Bloomberg, Argentina is currently facing a challenging economic situation with skyrocketing inflation rates.
However, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining. In this case, the troubling state of affairs turned the highly coveted Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' concert tickets so damn cheap, making it possible for fans to grab their tickets at a fraction of the usual cost.
According to Fortune, the tickets for the upcoming 'The Eras Tour' Argentina stop in November costs 75,000 pesos, or roughly to the tune of $153. The pricing still excludes other fees, but that is the price tag for the tickets in the standing-room-only area, which gives fans an up-close experience of the concert stage.
On the other hand, the ticket prices in the US are jarringly expensive, at least compared to the Argentina pricing. Swift's upcoming shows in the US already cost around $1500 if you will get them from reseller platforms. Meanwhile, buying a ticket to fly from Chicago to Buenos Aires in time for 'The Eras Tour' sells for about $900.
And as such, Fortune notes that flying to Argentina to watch the sensational pop star is way cheaper. At least $153 in savings.
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Latin America
The Taylor Swift 'Eras Tour' has been creating waves worldwide, leaving fans breathless with its extravagant stage setups, mind-blowing visual effects, and her unparalleled talent. This time, Miss Americana is bringing her concert to Latin America and Mexico, kicking off in Brazil and Argentina, according to Consequence.
The Latin American leg includes three shows in Mexico. On August 24, 25, and 26, Swift is heading to Mexico City. The pop star is also kicking off her Argentina 'Eras Tour' on November 9 and 10.
Her Brazil stop in Rio de Janeiro is on November 18. And lastly, Miss America is also coming to São Paulo on November 25 and 26.
Tickets for Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina are going for sale this June on Ticketmaster. Mexico City fans may get their hands on it starting June 13, and Buenos Aires-based Swifties can buy tickets as early as June 6.
If you are from Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' tickets go on sale on June 12.
