The unfortunate plane accident left behind highly-fragmented wreckage in a mountainous area.

FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) said the wreckage would take days to gather and sort out.

Ongoing investigations still haven't found the main reason behind the airplane crash.

But, it looks like more questions will be answered after an F-16 pilot shared what he saw before the Cessna airplane incident happened.

He was one of the pilots sent by the U.S. military in an attempt to intercept the Cessna airplane after it entered restricted airspace around the U.S. capitol.

The F-16 pilot coordinated with the investigators, saying that he saw the Cessna pilot sitting in the left seat of the airplane.

He added that the Cessna operator was slumping toward the airplane's right side.

The F-16 airman saw this 12 minutes before the Cessna airplane crashed. What the military personnel saw supports the idea that the Cessna pilot had fallen unconscious.

Based on the available flight data, experts claimed that the Cessna operator went unconscious, possibly due to a loss of pressurization.

They added that the plane was on autopilot when it happened. However, the aircraft ran out of fuel, which led to the accident, as reported by the Washington Post.

Four People Were Killed

The Federal Aviation Administration announced that the Cessna Citation accident killed a total of four people.

These are the pilot and passengers. Among these passengers are the granddaughter, Aria, and daughter, Adina Azarian, of John Rumpel.

Rumpel owns Encore Motors of Melbourne and was a major GOP donor who supported the ex-POTUS, Donald Trump.

"It descended at 20,000 feet a minute, and nobody could survive a crash from that speed," said Rumpel.
