Linked's new AI tool has been confirmed by the company's vice president of product, Abhishek Shrivastava.
The LinkedIn official announced the new generative AI feature on Wednesday, June 7, via his official LinkedIn blog post.
"We know that 55% of marketers plan to use Generative AI to increase their efficiency so they can focus on higher-value work," explained Shrivastava.
To further help advertisers on LinkedIn, the employment social media platform decided to develop a new AI Copy Suggestions feature.
LinkedIn's New AI Tool Will Benefit Advertisers
According to Venture Beat's latest report, the new LinkedIn AI Copy Suggestions is an artificial intelligence that automatically writes parts of ad campaigns in the professional platform.
The AI Copy Suggestions work by generating introductory text and headlines for online advertisements. It relies on the data from LinkedIn to ensure that its outputs are relevant.
The new AI Copy suggestions specifically use LinkedIn marketers' page data, as well as information from the Campaign Manager setting.
The data it can check include targeting criteria, audience, and objective. These details will enable the AI Copy Suggestions to generate different introductory ad texts.
While doing this, the new generative AI ensures that users have the option to adjust its outputs. This will enable advertisers to make changes so that their content is still aligned with their brand language.
AI Copy Suggestions' Other Details
LinkedIn marketers can easily use the new AI Copy Suggestions features. All they have to do is to input their copy into the tool's introductory text box.
This is located within the Campaign Manager. If they want to have different outputs, advertisers can just turn on the "Generate Copy Suggestions" option.
As of press time, the new generative AI tool of LinkedIn is still in a test phase. Only selected LinkedIn marketers in North America can access it.
But, LinkedIn said that the new feature will be rolled out to more locations in the coming months. As the rollout happens, the employment platform will also release new functionalities and add support for more languages.
"We're excited about the possibilities ahead and are looking forward to continuing this journey with you!" said Shrivastava.
