In a recent interview with Men's Journal, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star said that he thinks people should "rush" to have kids, rather than wait until they are older.
Chris Pratt Urges People to 'Rush' Having Kids
The 'Mario' star sheds light on his passionate belief that there is no time like the present to embark on the journey of parenthood. In the interview, Pratt, a father himself, spoke candidly about the joys and challenges of raising his little ones, inspiring many to reconsider their timelines.
He told Men's Journal that "people say all the time, '[do not] rush to have kids.'" However, Pratt is pretty straightforward when he shares his two cents on the matter. He says, "I personally disagree." He then urges people to "Rush. Have it."
But despite that, he acknowledges that we should still find a "great" partner before diving into the rodeo of parenthood. Yet, he stresses that we should not wait.
To further emphasize his point, he recalled a recent conversation with actor-comedian Adam Sandler. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor told him, "Every day you wait is a day they [do not] get to have you in their life." In other words, he notes that having kids at a younger age, lets parents have more time to spend with their children.
The remarks of Pratt come as some people argue that it is important to be financially stable before having kids. On top of that, others believe it is crucial to be emotionally ready before diving into parenthood. Ultimately, the decision of when to have kids is a personal one.
According to BuzzFeed News, the "Super Mario" star is a father to three kids. One of his lovely children is with Anna Faris, and the rest are with Katherine Schwarzenegger.
