According to The New York Times, the social media trans sensation Mulvaney has aimed at beer giant Bud Light, accusing the company of abandoning her amid the hostility from conservatives.

The transgender influencer received attacks from conservatives and anti-trans folks who boycotted the US' top-selling beer brand. It all began when Mulvaney posted an Instagram video wherein she collaborated with Bud Light. As part of the sponsored post, she shared a commemorative can, which features her face on it, as she celebrates her transition to "girlhood."

And now, for the first time, she has broken her silence in her recent TikTok video. The TikTok influencer disclosed she received personal attacks and stalking throughout the backlash.

She stresses, "What transpired from that video was more bullying and transphobia than I could have ever imagined." The 26-year-old influencer adds she "felt a loneliness that I [would not] wish on anyone."

Amid the widespread backlash after she posted her Instagram-sponsored post, she waited for Bud Light to reach out to her. But much to her dismay, she says that the brand never talked to her during the controversy.

As per The Daily Mail, Mulvaney took a swipe at Bud Light. She says abandoning a trans person after hiring them "is worse than not hiring a trans person at all."

The trans influencer expressed that it took considerable time for her to find the courage to speak out. The weight of guilt had burdened her, adding an extra layer of complexity to an already challenging situation. On top of that, Mulvaney admitted to feeling fearful of the potential backlash that may follow her disclosure.

Mulvaney also reveals in her recent TikTok video that she lost the commemorative can, with her face on, after she tried to hide it. But she wants to keep it inside a glass like a much-coveted artwork when she finds it.

As Fox Business reports, the new "That's Who We Are" advertisement puts the spotlight on the thousands of people behind the beers of Anheuser-Busch, which includes the controversial Bud Light.

Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth points out that the discussions about Bud Light in the last two months "moved away from beer." So with the new campaign, they want to divert the conversation to the alcoholic beverage.
